As anticipated, an absolute wall was hit today so our plans were perfect!
I booked a beach bed at South Beach and we just had a chill day. We did not sleep but after a late breakfast onboard, we walked out to South Beach (about 15 minutes) and enjoyed the quiet, beautiful, silky white sand and private relaxation.
We were joined in port by the Wonder of the Seas. It makes you realize that our ship is not that big by those standards. We were some of the last to leave the island around 4pm — cloudy and balmy so it was very pleasant.
We cleaned up, got dressed and headed for dinner. I was feeling exhausted from our life the past 6 months so we turned in very early and got a great night’s sleep! Ready for our first day at sea where we plan to start resuming our fitness mandate by walking the Deck 12 track.
